Raman spectroscopy is a vibrational spectroscopic technique that widely used for analyses of the chemical structures and morphologies polymeric materials. The peak position area each band are influenced by microscopic deformations molecular chain e.g. load-sharing, orientation, conformational state. In particular, analysis has been to investigate structure–mechanical properties relationship semi-crystalline polyolefins (POs) because C–C stretching mode, which main vibration POs, strongly Raman-active. present review summarizes recent POs.
